Do
feel like something is missing in your life; that
maybe there is more to life than the way you are
currently living? Do you feel like you need to have a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ; to become a
Christian?
Below
you will find what you need. A plan of salvation laid
out in plain, easy to follow steps commonly known as
the Romans Road Plan of Salvation. Follow this with a
sincere heart and you will begin that personal
relationship with God.
Everyone
can be saved!!! That is, everyone who puts their
trust in Jesus Christ. May I present the plan of
salvation to you? The plan I like to use is called
The Roman Road Plan because the key scriptures are
from the book of Romans in the New Testament.
Introduction
Do you know for sure you are going to heaven? If you
will take a few minutes to read the following you can
have this assurance.
All have sinned
"For we have all sinned and come short of the
glory of God" (Ro. 2:23)
"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have
turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath
laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all" (Is.
53:6)
No matter who you are, where you were born, how much
money you make or what sex you are...you were born a
sinner...Everyone was.
The wages of sin is death
"For the wages of death is sin" (Ro. 6:23)
There is only one payment for sin - death! Death is
separation. We are separated from God when there is
sin in our life and we will be separated from Him
forever if we remain in sin.
Nothing will pay for sin except death...Good works
won't, money won't. etc
But here is some good news
Christ died for our sins
"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that,
while were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Ro.
5:8)
Christ has paid the penalty in full for you by His
death!
He rose from the dead to give you new life!
Accept Him as Lord
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the
Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God
hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be
saved" (Ro. 10:9)
This passage tells us to 1) Confess with your mouth.
To confess Him as Lord means we have confessed our
sins and repented of them.
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just
to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness" (I John 1:9)
2) Believe in your heart. That means we believe that
Jesus died for us and in our place to pay the debt of
sin we owed and we believe that He is alive now.
There are 2 groups of people
1) Those who believe in what they do.
2) Those who believe in what Christ did.
If you want to accept Him now pray a simple prayer to
Him. Tell Him you admit you are a sinner, confess and
repent of your sins, put your faith in Jesus Christ
and ask Him to come into your heart now.
Assurance
The devil does not want you to be saved. What can you
do when he comes to accuse you? What can you do when
you don't "feel" saved? Claim the promise
of God's Word:
"He that believeth on the Son has everlasting
life" (John 3:36)
How do you know you are saved? Because God's Word
says so!!!
If
you have followed the above plan and have accepted
Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to
